Thinking about the sedan in aloha, but I would just be taking what I wanted and getting rid of the shell. The guy has no title - would anyone take the shell off my hands? I dont want to see it crushed.

I am hoping that someone somewhere wants it. I want the hood, grill, DCOE/Cannon manifold, maybe the doors, the wheels, and so on.. I want the rest to roll away on a trailer because I am not going to let the shell be destroyed.

If it's ready to go in two weeks, bring it to Canby! Someone will take it off your hands if you put a big sign that says "FREE" on it.

Bluemax: Did not see any rust, also did not look very hard. Not overwhelming if there is any.

Yea, I am going to pick this car up. The carb is worn around the throttle shaft and the linkage is a total hack, but I have resources so I can reco it. At this point I am looking at keeping:

engine
hood
radiator
windshield
wheels
front crossmember/brakes/struts/steering
carb/manifold
front grill/headlight assy
window mechanisms
some gas tank parts

everything else will be up for grabs. It has some nice soft cloth seats in it in pretty good shape, matching buckets and back seat. Good glass. Body is not straight, lots of wrinkles and waves but no clear impacts (probably got some body filler in places). Fenders are no better then mine so i wont be keeping those. Spare tire floor is rusted out but didn't find any other rust. It has the under-door trim off an escort GT, sounds strange but it kinda works. In OK shape, would have to be stripped and cleaned up to be reused but it looks pretty cool on the sedan. I might pull the rear axles out of the housing. Really, the seats - the shell - the rear and side glass, and anything else thats attached and doesn't apply to the coupe is gonna be in canby. I will try to recoup some of the money I spend on it, but im not out to make a fortune. My primary concern is to make sure the shell doesn't get crushed.
