Go The Dat.
I remember when id just got my P`s and me and a bunch of mates would go up the mountain "for the view, officer!"and hoon around in the top carpark in our underpowered cars, the only problem was getting stuck, one night my mates xy falcon was beached( body sitting on the snow and the rear axle at full stretch) recovery took about 2 hours digging with tire leavers and other stuff.
But alas now the powers that be close the road at the bottom gate a even the first hint of snow. I feel sorry for the young folk of today.

....and no helmet either.

That's because this was not an actual race, it was a photo shoot.

Can you say squeaky clean engine bay? Nice job, I always get jealous when I see a nice engine bay with carbs doing the fuelling, us injected guys feel so left out...*hehehe*

How's about that chromed jack, some bling bling in the workshop.

And I see a helmet in the 3rd photo of the last set. Was it the photographer?

Wow talk about being late to reply. Sorry about that David. I imported them from LMC Hadrian in the UK about 8 years ago. Got the correct brackets to mount them as well from a Nissan dealer somewhere over there also. The rear one is actually for a coupe, but I was happy to take whatever I could get.

Not only do they look great, but the weight savings is a nice bonus too.

No that was me earlier in the photo shoot. I took a break to add fuel, swap the studded tires around, and didn't bother to put the helmet back on afterwards. The best pics were the last ones, just before the sun set.
