Just want to know if anyone has mounted the battery in the compartment in the l/h side of tray behind passenger? I'm using a full river agm battery like the odyssey pc680 and it seems to fit nicely in there once I make a battery holder for it.

I'll take some pics tomorrow but I'm running the battery cable up from the compartment in the tray through the roof and down the a pillar so it will never be seen

Genius idea! Will be very neat.

Are you using size 0 cables? That's quite a long run. How will you protect against chafing over time against the body welds? At least fit a 100A fuse near the battery so it can blow if something happens.

Yeah the cable is what they call 25mm. The cable run isn't really that long it's around 2.5m.
I've got it wrapped in the convulated tubing were it goes through the body and roof.
No photos as yet but some will be up tomorrow ( finally get a day off to play in the shed!)
