So basically a ~25mm spacer adapter between the rotor and the hub? I reckon that will work
2006-2001 Mazda BT50 is a version of the Ford Ranger isn't it? Those rotors fit the Ford Ranger, Ford Raider and Ford Econoline DBA 958 Vent: Vented Diameter: 255.5 Height: 24 Thickness: 24 Min Thickness: 22 Centre Hole Dia: 86

Yes it is, same part DBA number.
The rotor hat/adapter will look something like this (see image) i think. Maybe out of aluminium, but depends on the size of it. I'm still working out measurements. May do a demo up in 3D.
I can't find any other option for vented brakes under 14's without increasing track. I hope the stuffing around is worth it. It'll be a bigger (if only slightly) disc, vented and with a bigger caliper.Has to be worth it.... right?
Where is the best place to look for brake pad options with a given caliper?
