hey ive got a A15 in a 1200 ute
the regulator has craped itself
anyone know where they are usually located i cannot find it?

lookig into the engine bay its positioned on the left hand side of the engine bay, it next to the relays. about 10x8x6 cm in size

all the relays were moved to under the dash none in the engine bay
ill have a look under the dash near the relays maybe i missed it thanks

A15 means 1980 or newer. Some of them have an internally-regulated alternator. So have you looke inside the alternator? It might be marked "IC" on the outside.
