Hey Guys,

i am looking at purchasing some new tailights for my 1200 ute and was wondering if anyone has purchased any off ebay and how they went with fitment, plugs etc???

Any help or contacts would be helpful.

Cheers,

i have now fitted 3 different pairs to 3 different utes and found that they do fit in the hole ok but they are not exact replicas of the originals which means the lines arnt parrallel with the body work... if that makes sense. i ended up using the original tail lights frame with new yellow and white lenses, i didnt use the new red as its actually pink when your brakes are on. i stuck the old red lense on the soft buffer and it comes up like new

im wondering how hard it would be to modify the ute so i could fit some of those black alteza styled tail lights from a 89-97 hilux?..... i saw a set on ebay and think those black ones would look fantastic with my black paint. it would be a fair bit of messing around but do-able the only thing i can think of to mess it up would be the curve of the plastic on the lights would have to match the curve of the quater panel
