#1 NEW 1200
showandgo1200 Posted on: 2001/10/23 9:07
Since Holden is bringing back the Monaro and Ford is bringing back the GT and GTHO Falcon, maybe there is a chance Nissan can make a new 1200. They might even make
a 2 door version.

Dream on.

Just curious but why would you want the car without a bonnet?

Yeah,

I think he's been on chris_lott's fanta injection!

I think without a bonnet and bulging engine would be a good look...at least for the Motor Show, where it would take pride of place on the rotating stand, under lights, lots of
nice girlies throwing themselves all over it, showing what a sexual turn-on the shape of a 1200 is. At least my dream here might be understood...In the other places people may
think me a little strange....

Know need for girls to be laying all over the Datsun.

Instead just put another 1200 next to the other one. That is more
impressive.

#8 VG30E vs DE
Errrnstak Posted on: 2001/10/25 9:27
How much bigger is the VG30DE than the older plain E (SOHC)? How much harder would it be to fit that in the 1200 than the
SOHC version? Any ideas?

Did i read correctly before when someone wrote:- a 1200gt with 2000cc? wouldnt that make it a 2000gt (technically)?
there is still a lack of new small cubed engined cars running about in Aus. besides toyota 1300cc starlet turbos i would like to see a 1200gt with a 1200cc pneumatic
valve actuation and chunky arsed turbo revving to 12,000rpm, i'm sure few of us could afford it, oh well back to the datto.

Maybe it's like wine. Methode le Datsun 1200.

I think the 1200 should run a 2400cc 2 stroke....Open Exhaust...man that'd get 'em going. A Lawnmower with attitude. I never did think that Rotaries were loud enough. Maybe I'm
just deaf. I think the title of '1200' goes beyond the engine capacity, in Australia at least. Same goes for the 1600 (510).
