grill options

hey just wondering what u guys did for your grill. my 1200 is 1980 and those plastic ones looks #OOPS# as.. was going to get one of the older metal ones but not sure if the mounting points different plus hard to find .
then i thought about making one and then worked out i not to good in making stuff. there are heaps of nice ones in tech wiki but none for sale

I put an after market later model apron on my 1200 which suits the plastic grille, all I had to do to fit a metal grille was grind off the mounting tabs for the plastic grille on the apron and all good:)

but no one is selling a metal grill at the moment which sucks. guess i just got to wait .
any other ideas?

one on ebay at the moment. Search under Datsun 1200 parts.

The mounts are totally different.
