#1 mounting brake calipers upside down
WARDY Posted on: 2011/3/10 8:38
Hey all, ran into another bloody problem with my car!

because of how short my diff is, i have no option but to mount the caliper at the bottom, so its kinda upside down. besides maybe being a pain to bleed (which a reverse bleed will fix) what else could be a problem. as far as im aware it should be fine and work as normal but just thought id ask the question!

Only problem with doing thes is that the drum handbrake on the falcon diff i have prob wont be useable.. so ill have to go hydro which is just more money i guess lol

feel free to voice opinions

Yeh that's what I thought, I'll just reverse bleed them which will solve that problem. I may not be able to use the original drum type handbrake coz the lever looks as though it will be behind the shock. I'll see how I go when the diff is finished.
