Keep us posted. I always love to hear about a rotary getting spanked. Good luck.

That setup sounds similar to AFRacer's car. There is a post somewhere, I couldn't find it though, where he said he was in the 16's I think.
Andy, set us straight.

Yeah my best has been 16.96 with my A-15, bored .020 over, it has dual 38mm SU's, NISMO extractor header with 2.25" exhaust, 229 duration cam at .050" .414 lift, 5 speed, electronic ignition, and a 3.90 open differential. It probably could get a little deeper into the 16's if I wasn't burning up the tire(s) through all of first gear. Something that helped me is doing the runs as soon as I could after I arrived, that way all the differential and transmission fluids are still warmed up and flow easier, the nice highway drive TO the dragstrip helps out a lot, usually blows a lot of carbon build up out on the way there. Anyway, yeah 16's with the A-15...probably 15's with sidedraft webers and a better cam, and 14's with some higher compression and a better set-up engine. I've heard of race prepped A14's doing 13's but that's a lot of work needed.
