Hi all, kinda new to this forum so Just wanted to first of all intro myself.

I'm from california, and I own a 1974 Datsun B210 Sedan - 4 door. I bought it in May of last year after giving up on my search for a 74' 4 door 710. The 710 was my first car and I loved it growing up and I kinda was wanting to relive those years. So here's a picture.

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p8 ... B-210/20151219_122330.jpg

So, I need a new passenger door. There was a large dent in it when I bought it and instead of spending tons of money to have a body shop pull it out I figured I'd just look into getting a new one.

My question is this: What years/versions of the B210 have compatible front passenger doors that I can use?

I've seen a few later year doors, for example a 1976 B210 coupe door but wasn't sure if it would work with mine.

Any help will be appreciated, and thanks in advance :)

Good question. Basic answer: another 4-door sedan door

* two-door models used longer doors (2-door Sedan & 2-door Coupe), longer so passengers could get into the rear seat

* four-door models used shorter doors, so only another 4-door has the door you need. Any B210 (1974-1978) 4-door sedan I believe will work. http://car-part.com shows two in Santa Paula, and one in Idaho

I found this ad for a new 1974 -- it was quite an interesting car for the times. Before the Gas Crisis, the 1972 B110 was $1850, after the crisis they could ask $2687 and people were willing to pay it.

Do you still have the A13 engine in your 1974? It was the most unique Datsun engine, only used for one year, and only in one territory (North America). Rated at 75 hp (about 45 SAE J2723 horsepower)

The best engine swap may be the KA24DE out of a 240SX -- 156 hp is more than double the original!
* Fits in the B210 like it was made there
* You can use a 510 reversed crossmember, it's just like a 510 swap
* The 240SX 5-speed fits in the tunnel just have cut the sheet metal in the shifter area

weird, never got the email that there was a response to my thread.

Yeah still has the original engine in it and thanks for the info, been doing a lot of research on an engine swap and still am no closer to what i want to do.

I just found me a PERFECT passenger door as well, only $120 complete! Got it from an awesome guy up near LA.
