WOW! So that what a thead is, feel silly now. I said I was new at this but anywho, here go, one L18 74 620 vint block cut to Z22 pist bore, L20B crank cut mains to fit L18 Main shells, turn counter weights .350 thou. L24 77 810 rods polished and peened. Cut notch in lower cyl to allow rod clearance at tdc. Mill piston top flat or to 0 deck. L18 head 1.734 dia in 1.382 dia ex. L20B head gasket Had assy. balanced. Normal L18 timing set. Stock intake with adapter for weber dd[ port matched] Stock Ex manifold off L20B. Has proven to be a runner lots of low end with good rapp. Only problem so far is it likes high oct. and requires a clutch to shut off. O'yea the important part, I use it in a 71 521pu to tow my 1200. Thanks I guess I should change my login to DUH!!!
