hey all, just wondering, what engine does a 92-3 silvia have and can it go into a 1200 easily?
my friend has a wrecked one but the running gear is all good, thinking evil thoughts about engine swap... any info appreciated thanks

92-93 silvias have an SR20DE or SR20DET depending on whether the are q's or k's series, I believe that the engine can be fitted in fairly easily (as far as retrotech engine swaps go) but if it is turbo (SR20DET) you will probably not be able to register it for street use, but the NA version is ok, but it all depends on your states transport laws.

i wouldnt have a clue, but I wouldnt put an auto box behind an SR20DE, it will be pretty boring unless you trick up the trans a bit
