Hey Guys
One of my good mates is selling his mill - the best single phase mill I have ever seen, sad i don't have room - it's even on a bed of rollers - so it can be pushed around the garage by one person!
Feel free to have a look - thought I'd try and keep it in the family.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170474529896&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:ITI don't know how to get the images from ebay these days....here's the description
This is a great machine. Very capable. It is in great working order. The machine has been fully converted to SINGLE PHASE and rewired. All wiring is in armoured sheath for safety. It has overload protection for the spindle and feed motors.
The machine is used, but works perfectly.
I purchased it about 12 months ago and put quite a lot of work into it. I was not intending to sell it but I have to move houses and I can't fit it into the new place.
The universal milling head is indexed and can be tilted to any setting between vertical and horizontal. Milling head has a NT32 spindle taper. It can be removed (as shown) to fit radial cutters.
Power feed is on all three axis. There is a fast feed lever which works on any axis that is engaged.
The machine is quite heavy but it is sitting on a base that has nylon wheels. One person can easily roll it across a concrete floor.
It doesn't have a digital readout, but I considered fitting one. It would be a very simple process because there is good locations for all three linear scales.
I'm selling it with lots of accessories. There is a huge collection of radial cutters. I don't know exactly how many because I've never counted, but there is some great ones in there. Also a T slot clamp set, hardly used. And a full set of ER32 metric collets and NT40 arbour.
The coolant pump has quick connect fittings on the inlet and outlet hoses. So if the pump becomes clogged with swarf you can just disconnect the hoses and clean it out.
There is a boom above the machine with an electronic winch to lift jobs on and off the bed. The boom swivels through 180 degrees. It is very useful to lift on and off the universal head. The boom is mounted to the base. So its all a complete unit.
I will really miss this machine but I know that anyone looking for a machine to do larger milling jobs is going to love it. So my loss is your gain! If there are any questions then write to me of just give me a call, happy to have a chat about it. 0434 566 801.
The machine is located in anglesea victoria. If you want to view it call me.
DELIVERY:
I'm happy to assist with the delivery. I can get a trailer and bring the machine to your place if its not too far, melbourne is no problem. Will probably cost about $300. You will need to help me to unload. A forklift is probably a good way to unload. The tines will slide straight under the base. Unless you want to pick it up give me a call and we can work out something about delivery, I'm happy to help.
