was looking at this earlier ... i wonder how hard it would be to get parts for that blower compared to a sc14

This thing has been bought and sold a few times and always looks the same. I would imagine that it would be totally overkill for a 1200 or even A15. But then again...

only good for a Ka24 or over 2.3 litre engine

i thought it would be way to big for an A-series, but you never know. I thought you would need a certain amount of horse power to even make it work, but if it was able to run the boost would be like a freaking hurricane!!!

It would take a bit to get running properly though, need a custom gilmer drive pulley and some decent 'braketry', enough to hold up a battleship i reakon!

How big is the blower that you aquired Revhead? smaller than this one surley? was that set-up ever running?

The engine that was for sale with it, in the 1200 coupe, had some neat work done to it. He had to cut the bonnet (obviously) to fit everything in but it was an interesting project.

There is an extensive thread about it (or several) but, I don't know what you'd have to serach to find it.

It was one of those butcher the bonnet things but this was an exception in terms of engine building. Some hard work went into getting it together.

I know it wasn't finished when it was sold but it had to run on specific fuel or something.
