monster port 12a 1200 ute toowoomba qld

hi guys wanted this thing registered by the time i moved into the house i bought but just hasn't got there, pretty much don't wanna spend any more on it more interested in equity plus i've got an s15 anyway. here's a quick run down, all modifications are mod plated & cars been previously registered-

12a monster port with 48 ida weber & weber manifold recently been checked over and cleaned up by TAS
12a speed with new exedy heavy duty clutch & pressure plate
all genuine earls fittings with braided line for everything in engine bay lots of $$$$
2 new 10inch thermos with new thermo switch
new 2inch stainless extractors to the rear fire wall into (carbon steel) 3 inch with 2 new mufflers still noisy
new 32 row (not sure bout the rows but its big) oil cooler with -10 braided lines
new maddat hard brake lines
new maddat booster setup
comes with r31 diff that hasn't been chopped down yet
central locking & mongoose alarm
peddars front end with all urethane bushes front and rear
new race plugs
all new custom spark leads
new dizzy cap
new isotta steering wheel with new boss
the dash is in pretty good nick with no cracks
exterior is in good nick couple of scratchs here and there was resprayed 2 yr back, there's no major dings in the tray or on the outside

all thats left to do is the auto electrical pretty much just the brake & reverse lights and the alarm system doesn't like opening dunno what the go there is

ive probably forgotten some stuff heres a link to some photo's http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/v ... p?topic_id=40648&forum=1.

please no stupid offers the car is in pretty good nick for its age it's always been garaged im open to swaps would prefer a ca18det 1200 ute really need somethin for work and so the cops dont hassle me about the noise. for price sake im gonna put $13000 thats with a rwc but am open to negotiate.

cheers leith

ps - car runs and drives i've got a video somewhere and can take more photo's of its current state to email

frig that is nice.. what are the P-Plate laws.. how many cc is the max for a rotary.. and also, not real familiar with port jobs but id say monster is pretty serious.. how long would you expect to be able to drive this (sensibly) before a rebuild is due.. that is you do everything right, warm up properly no over revs in cold and stuff.. bit of oil in the fuel..

just done some research and founf out i could drive this little beast, but not real keen on the monster port haha.. i dont know enough about rotarys to rebuild it at the end of the year.. i think only a mild port or extend port.. maybe possibly a bridge port.. there is no way to undo the port is theerr??

hi bud, this is my first rotor as for reliability i really couldn't tell ya first hand everyone say's it's how you drive it as to how much you'll get out of it. i was expecting to blow it up i was more after hp than anything it was just gonna be a weekender to cruise around in as for porting the next step after monster port is peripheral port and you can't go backward

well it hasn't had a proper tune, it made 212rwhp so that's alright i want to take it to dysons to see if he can squeeze some more out of it. im not real sure what it keeps up with i actually haven't had it registered to drive it around and see but it's made more hp than my old ca18det 1200 ute. if your a p plater i'd be pretty hesitant in sellin it to you cos it's got some mumbo

yer i bet it does, but i wouldnt drive it much but.. would only be on the weekends.. i have an XC falcon with a very loose backend.. but i have only played around with that like twice, im not the one to do silly stuff, 212hp and the car weighs what haha.. would be a monster.. you could nearly just use it for a weekend strip car/burnout type setup..
