I'm finally pulling out my L18 with 5 speed from my Datsun 520. The L18 is bulletproof, has had bigger cam put in and is a very strong engine. The gearbox is FUBAR - total reco or replacement would be necessary regarding gearbox. This engine & gearbox is from a 180B 'SSS'

What model is the weber - if it's a dcoe 9 (and I'm not massively concerned about anything except that - whether it's a 40 dcoe or 45 though I'd lean toward a 45! and not massively concerned about the condition of the motor itself.) I'll have money in your account this monday, but wouldn't be able to collect until the summer holiday period (if that suits) . I can probably come up with a decent list of people on here who could vouch for the fact I'll have the money to you pronto (they'd also vouch for the fact the difficult thing for me is finding time to collect the parts!)
