After having CA powered ute for six years i've finally decided to bite the bullet and throw some serious cash at the datto and rebuild the CA;
arias forged pistons
prepped crank and rods
ARP head stud kit
Tomei 260deg solid cams
Tomei valve springs
Tomei head gasket
Tomei cam sprockets
ported head and manifolds
new gaskets etc
60mm throttle body
GT3076 500hp turbo on 6boost manifold
hopefully will be ready in the next month or so

best time before rebuild was 11.37@120mph hoping for tens :)

sweet another perth datto

Did u think maybe to go a sr20 instead of upgrading the ca? We are gunna have a pretty sweet set of datto's up and running in wa soon. Hehe

When I got it registered with CA I was told could not get a 2lt turbo registered in a 1200. Besides theres a CA over east doing high 8s thats quick enough for me.
