surely its been done befor?.... How?!

iv got a ca18det in my dat and im wondering how hard it is to convert that heater box to aircon. seems a big job... but just how big?

I don't think you'd convert the heater but instead install a briefcase style unit that sits under the dash on the passengers side. You can then keep the heater as well.

To convert the heater would need outrageous amounts of work I think, and probably cost too much.

You can buy them cheap out of Japan, it was a factory option until 1994.
