well its prob not that bad.....

but there is this sunny (b310) rallycar for sale at the moment, its reasnobly cheap and the body is fully preped (bead blasted, seam welded, $2000 cage) which comes with a-15 5 speed ect ect

i just need to get the money together to afford it

it isnt a 1200 but running an a-15 is just so cool and its still in the family , plus ill have my 1200 road car

i have already got a buyer for the rallycar drivetrain,

but id like to sell the 2dr sedan anyway so its for sale indefinately for 900 (no bonnet)

The 1200 2 door looks so much better than the Sunny & it is rare to boot, but then i'm biased. Fit it up with an A15 & 5 speed & KROOOZE.

You must have eaten the wrong colour mushrooms! What are you thinking, acording to my manual the two door sedans are the lightest. F=MA less weight =more acceleration. Plus it stands to reason that the bodies would be stronger too. Sunnys are all good (my daily hack) but come on stay true to the cause.

Tough decision. The B310 is nice, worthy car ... but then again the 2-dr sedan is rare & desirable ...

Rallycar youve got to ask yourself...if I sold the 1200 would I truly regret it in the next few years??? If so why would you...only you could answer this question. If its a matter of time which you may not have (but I suspect you do because youve hit 3000 posts now) I would try to keep the 1200 as a long term restorer job and use the 310 as short term fun. If its a matter of space then thats a different story....you dont want half finished Datsuns all over your front lawn..it will lower our extremely high standard in the community at large. If you really want the 310 the $$$ will come.
They are a great car and set up correctly they can be a fantastic race car. (a 310 driven by Paul Zyfert won the 2002 IPRA NSW championship)

that sunny is long gone, though i still have the 2dr sedan, i prefer the coupe look enough to not worry about the rarity of the 2dr

it's still for sale and cheaper than before too , but im in no hurry to sell really
