just noticed aluminium wheel nuts on otomoto
otomoto i remember this being a really significant weight savingwhen we were build formula SAE car, but cant remember weights $72 for 16, not too bad im tempted, someone buy some and let me know if they are good

cheap compared to steel ones that rust as soon as you put them on!

cool, post the answer, i remember being really surprised how heavy 16 x steel nuts are, if you measure that we should be able to convert that to a rough weight for aluminium to get an idea
i could do it but i don't think i have a set of scales worthy

Gotta watch that the alloy thread doesn't strip and your wheel fall off! Ive heard alloy wheel nuts are a no no in motorsport.

found some on ebay that are alloy but have a steel insert. finding out there weights to.

I had the d1 ones on my skyline and over 180kmh no problems! They have steel inserts and weigh #OOPS# all
