No need for a modified oil pump. You can use a sandwhich plate bolted between the Oil pump and the Oil filter. The sandwich plates are available from racing supply companies -- Ford windsor type fits the Datsun.

Nissan Competition sold a specially-fitted pump & cooler set, which looks a little more integrated.

Ernie, I believe in the past you've indicated you have 2 types of cast pistons (there may be others as well) for the a15, with differing dish cc's. would it be possible to confirm what those dish sizes are for each and would it be possible to upload a pic of each type (I'm mainly looking into the shape/location of the dish, so a pic from the top down, or from an angle mostly from above or something)

And on a 'one day' sort of note, do you happen to have (or have a source for) pistons to fit an a14/15 block (with minimal oversize, though would be willing to re-think a little if they are only available in XYZ oversizes) but approx 3mm shorter compression height/pin placement. if so, what sort of dollars, and are they a flat top or dished crown? no problem whatsoever if you would prefer to respond to this last query via pm instead of here.

One last thing (that is relevent to this thread in a big way) - I recently bought carbies from Ernie. He is dead set a straight up guy - totally honest about their condition before the sale, and got them in transit (and packed them safely too!) the minute he'd been paid for em. Definitely a safe bet to deal with him.
