I just spoke to the guys at moorabin springs and they will reset the springs for $280 if i take out and drop them off so that should be do able budget wise. Will be discussing the spring rate with them on the day, what is a good spring rate?

So anyone that has me on Facebook probably knows where i'm at with the car.Decided that i'll get all the little #OOPS# done to the car that I've wanted to do for a while. So its probably going to be in the shed for a bit longer Even putting in 4-5 hours every night i'm doubting the car will be back together and run-in in time, let alone tuned and actually performing well. So i'll say i'm out, very keen for another meet of some sort once its tuned though

Put hilux shocks in crumbs coupe tonight. Well he did. I made him some leaf spring pack with 4 leaves and a flipped 2nd leaf. About 2 inches shorter than standard. Softish so rear squats for grip. Try shocks first then see about leaves.

They appear to work well, only had a quick drive around the block but suspect the old shocks were bottoming out. When the road dries out will take it for a better test drive, so far they seem to be a good shock for a very low car.

One week to go, is it just the four of us going or are there others still deciding?

I could be getting free use of a trailer for the day so that should help make the day more fun. Just not sure about the welded diff holding up.
