suzuki hatch already has rwd provisions, just add diff to the rear from suzuki carry or corolla with flares all round, suzuki sierra or modded 323 gearbox and g15b engine or g13b engine.
Crazy small wheelbase, 560kg with cast iron motor and all trims.
remove the undwanted it should be around 650kg with rollcage and available cheaply if crashed. Keep your 1200 for their value.

Im going to suggest now something different because the cg13 has not been converted to rwd yet and this person is not a pioneer.

SR16VE with 68mm stroke destroked to 64mm and using longer conrods than 144.95mm from Crower or other as the sr16de rods are weak.

Carb manifolds are available for webers and quad msr bike carbs.

Just find a cheap sr20de for starters and get an sr16ve crankshaft to work on and pistons and the aftermarket rods and solid lifter kit and race camshafts.

The sr20de head choice is due to the no vvl control giving you the option of running carbs.

86mm bores with piston choice gallore and crazy rod stroke ratio with 64mm stroke should see a 9000rpm motor.
For around 4-5k you should have a 230-250hp all day motor depending on the cams and head work.

I like the sr16de idea, would only be cost effective if you could find just a sr16ve crank as whole sr16ve motors are expensive. You probably could find one resonably easily as alot of 16ve guys stroke them out to 2L.
SR's are heavy though and big! I should know i'm stuffing one in my 1200. a cg13 wouldn't make as much power (should be able to get a solid 120 with sidies and a decent exhaust) but it certainly would handle better with the cg in there being somewhere in the vincinity of 60-70kgs lighter!
