The new house is sorted and I'll be moving in over the long weekend. So the 1200 will have prime position in the garage and can't wait to be working on it every night!
But today I sectioned out the crossmember, just to get the engine a little lower and back a bit. New sump will be here tomorrow, also ordered the flanges and steampipe to make my exhaust manifold soon. And I cut a big hole in my rh inner guard to fit the behemoth turbo in the engine bay! Pics to come

a few pics!
I wasnt happy with how the engine was sitting so i modified my crossmember and made a whole new sump! was alot of work but it was worth it as the engine sits exactly where i want it to.. ill be getting my front engine mount plate jetcut next week from 10mm alluminium.. sorry for the pic quality, i think the fluro lights effected it Sump before i started ![]() Chopped up and bits added ![]() ![]() Almost finished! just gotta work out where the pickup will sit, then do the final welding and ad a bung ![]() ![]() ![]() Crossmember ![]() ![]()

You have some good skills and balls :) Might need a trip up there some time soon to have a beer and give you a hand if your hooking right in now!

Lol cheers Rhys! I find the things that I dive straight into turn out the best! I'll be living in Wagga as of next week so if you want or need a place to crash on the way up or back let me know! The datto will be there too so you can have a squiz

If i had the right tools and all for the jobs you get upto i think i would give it all a crack as well! Timing with everything is the hassle! Yeah if i come up soon il stay with you and hit the cans and talk utter BS all night around the dato lol! Or can Pass you $hit while work is getting done :) You can view topic.
