Even though I never like stupidly big wheels on old cars looking like rice toys, the 240k is has similar issues as the gargantuan Ford Falcon XA/B/C. Their guards and proportions are way undersized for the their wheels. The only way then is to go bigger!!!. A couple of years ago someone did up an XC with big wheels/tubs/guards and I said "halleluya"!!! finally! First time I felt I would actually enjoy owning one.
A 240k also needs an Arab Sand Dragging 700hp TB51DET! THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT JUNIORS!!! You need to tub it for big arches and wheels or it just wrong Attach file: 240k my version.JPG (19.63 KB)![]()

yeh, its Much easier to find Gtxs or clones compared to the real deal gtrs.
Its very hard to come across a genuine c10/c110 gtr, even in japan. Very few number of gtrs were produced and most were not exported.landed in oz,be looking at figures of 100,000k plus for a genuine gtr. One of the easiest way to atleast give you hints of clones is the engine.Gtrs used the S20 engine. The 240 z432 which is also another relic, also used the s20 engine.Spare parts for this particular engine are also not cheap when they occassionally come up.so maintenance for a genuine gtr will also cost alot if u need genuine replacement panels or parts. that said, im not a fan of gtxs badged as gtrs.but im a fan of gtxs badged as gtxs. Owners have the right to do whatever they like or want to their cars.but as they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

carps,
real GTR's(kpgc110) are extremely expensive. last time i was in japan i was looking at one that sold for over 250kAU . if you really want one i can point you in the right direction(pm me). japanese don't really like these cars to go offshore. 110's are the rarest GTR with only 198 made before they were banned before they hit the track in in a supercar/oil crisis frenzy(sound familia??). they look and sound awesome. parts are stupid expensive (rocker covers usually go for around $4000). a replica can be had for 1/5th of the price and replica parts aren't to hard to source.
