Hi guys thought i would post a thread about my ute build, been collecting parts for my build for the last yr and a half got everything in my spare room in my unit so far have brand new bumper, grille, chrome trims, doors, all new interior parts, new bumper lights, rear lights, gauges, steering wheel, full rubber kit, maddat ultimate conversion kit and now motor and gearbox all i need to do now is get the money together to do everything.First ill be getting the diff put in (borgie) moving the leaf springs or maybe even getting rid off them, tubbing to the rails, cutting the lips off the gaurds and pumping them then off to see a bare metal respray colour undecided(baby blue, black, poison ivy green or yellow). Then it will be time to get the engine sorted out and fitted it will be a long build but worth it in the end.

Sounds good.
Buying all the stuff is the easy bit! I find myself buying more than doing! Good luck with the build. SR or CA??

Thats a very broad colour choice, or is that what you'll put in a tin and see what happens?

After seeing some L series and hearing from Simon
how good a boosted efi L series go, I reckon a good L series with boost is way overlooked these days. Especially now knowing the ca18det bottom end is as heavy as an L18 and the ca18 head is 10kgs heavier.
