hi jeff what i have done now and before which works fine
pulled leafs out have taken shortest leaf from another set pulled the center bolt out off leafs grab short leaf sit it on top of spring pack upside down so it arks the opposite direction then used g clamp and clamp together and put longer bolt in middle to put pack back together this adds extra leaf which makes a little stiffer if you dont want stiffer dont add extra take shortest one off bottom of pack and invert as you are clamping them together this straightens the leafsprings which lowers the car never had any problems

The maddat leafs look like the King springs version (king part number DAT-501) and for history sake, king springs probably copied from Jeoff Taylor.
These were made for coupes but should work on other 1200s. I have a set in my coupe and they are very low, not uncommon to bottom out over big road bumps. I do have a Hilux diff attached to them which takes up some room. I will be using these in my circuit car, but suspect the spring rate is way too high for what is really needed.

King Spring, big pricing for their copying efforts :)

I will post a pic of the leafs if I can... They just looked odd. Can't get any lower than mine were without removing the stops

hi estyre,my fathers old 1200 ute was reset at 3inchs,they were flat as,they were done by allsprings in sydney. The ride was a nightmare!
allsprings now wont reset them at 3inches,they recommend setting them at for example 2inches and 1inch lowering block.just some advice I also tried the reverse eye leafspring way, doesnt work, the eye touches the body where they connect to. thanks You can view topic.
