All I could think of is that the GX engines have twin carbs as std V's regular a-series engines have one carb and usually no head bolts with "13" embossed on the head of the fastener

Your reading it wrong think dd.
It should read- for single carb motor, use the 12 bolts.
Pretty much what Benny said.

You think? Did you even look at the photo?

lol, i dont think the problem is how it's read, the problem is how it's written

they are referring to the single caburettor engine as "one-carburetor"

and the twin carb as the "GX"

they are advising to "use" that bolt for that engine
not that the bolt is for one "use"

thanks, that is a good explanation.

errr, yes i did. Did YOU even look at the photo?
i understand fully that it means the single carb motor does not use the 13 head bolts but the gx does.
really doesent take a genius to understand......

Benny and 1200rallycar, I appreciate the helpful responses.

Yes, I looked at the photo and reliably quoted the text, then asked what it meant. I put no reading into it ... so pepper is way out of line.

well for starters, you didnt reliably quote the text.
the text says " ordinary one carburettor- use bolt (11056 18001)"
you quoted, "ordinary one- carburettor use"
so you cant have looked at the photo too hard. or it would have been blatantly obvious.
sorry if you think im out of line because you cant quote text properly.
dunno what your problem is with me gonzal, but i pretty much said what benny and rc said, but i get the attitude?
