my house is brick and concrete... more concrete than anything
my block is sloped to the rear so there is quite a cavity under the house. but the house is a suspended concrete slab, and suspended by concrete pillars, the best way to described it is like a multi story carpark anyway, im going through the process of structural engineers and soil test at the moment, but i will be pouring a slab underneath to habitable standards. this will add more rooms to the house and value. but in the early stages it will be my workshop/man cave definitely a lot of digging is already done, and i have been spending many nights digging lately the pictures arn't great as it's quite dark at the moment, i intend to put a garage door in the back wall so that i can drive down the side of my house and into the back wall underneath ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() so it's pretty much doubling the size of my house, as there is essentially the space of the entire house floor under there again. there is already a sink and toilet under there too

I feel your digging pain.rc. my wife wanted a patch if lawn to lay on with the kids so I have to dig up the front yard to plant grass.
Previous owner thought it was great to cover it in those white river Peebles. Apparently she thought it would be an afternoon job max. 2 weekends in and I just started sifting soil today to separate rocks and soil. By hand. Yep,budget doesn't stretch to $300 for skip bin and $600 for roll out grass lol It consists of $20 for seed and some second hand netting

Get a sample of the fake stuff and show her. It might be convincing.
Rallycar, that basement garage is cool. It looks like you are hard at work. Keep it up. Last night I did get a chance to pull the supercharger out of the car. More work ahead.

Just need to do a little landscaping around the edges. Next the propane fire pit out front on the lake side. Im going to try and get some work done on the car today as well. You can view topic.
