We are leaving tomorrow (new years day) for the 14 hour drive, we are doing over two days, just to be safe.

i'm not sure whether i should go on friday (tommorrow) or sunday, which day will be better? i'll definitely come and have a look at the datsun meet.

i reckon sunday would be betta, burnout finals..............

I prefer friday for burnout qualifying. Personally I'd rather see a street car do an average burnout than a purpose built burnout car choke everyone with smoke...

Saturday I think is pretty good for the Nats too, but that's because I like a day to recover after partying... call me crazy.

yeh i've gone on saturday the last few years but i wanted to see the burnouts and go to whoa this year. friday might be better if the street cars are doing burnouts and i guess everyone will be there by then.

edit:does anyone know if any of the mags or news programs turning up?

damn, you're missin out man. i went today and i'm goin again tommorrow after the datto meet. i watched the go to whoa today and there was a v8 120y that looked bog stock from the outside complete with hubcaps. there was also a mad sr20det 1600 at the go to whoa, it was sideways most of the way and it was squatting in the arse under power too. did anyone get footage of this 1600?
