Ha Ha Ha! Ok, will tell the someone, been a while but think it was my brother, he is an idiot. Should be fun actually. Thanks for the correct info.
And Yes, the 1200 is a fun little car. "Sporty & economical" was a very apt description as well as advert. Never did anything more serious than tuning and carb rejetting back when a kid, but was a kick when set up well.
Oh, and don't speak too ill of the brits. Traded my original 1200 on a first year TR7 and never looked back. My only regret was the TR7 didn't have the other half of it's engine. (Should have been a V8 from the start.)
