depnds who you are with, but as long as you disclose your mods to the company- thats the main things- its up to you to make them roadworthy.
your car is pretty legit- engine on the rego papers. its also pre most adrs so its a lot more leinent. as long as its safe or a saftey improvement its considered ok,unless it contributes to the accident.
its a mine field but some assesors dont have a clue about older cars, unless your specialised insuer likes old modded cars- eg shannons, vigil etc.
when i had an assesor looked at mine- i literally poped the bonnet and he knew it had a different a series as the dizzy position- i knew he was on the ball and disclosed the lot, as evryone is legally required to under most policies in austrlia.
