trace it back.... try pulling off the fuel line near the carb and turn the engine over ... see if the pump is pulling fuel out of the tank. And it always helps to have new fuel - after 12 months it starts to go off. Otherwise it could be that the fuel has gummed up in the carb and the needle is stuck.

good luck with the job hunting - I have just found a full time job again after 18 months

Thank's for the info. I got it running a couple minutes ago. Just a small blockage in the carb preventing the needle from delivering fuel.

Quick Update on whats been happening over the last couple of months. I've finally gotten a new Job and things are starting to flow smoothly again for myself and this build. As far as progress has gone I've done both rear 1/4 panels back to bare metal and brought them back up with new primer and sanded/bogged any light imperfections. I've started wire wheeling the tray back to bare metal to fix up the surface rust and will be applying some spray liner on down the track.

Just a quick update on the things I've managed to get done recently. The heater is back up and running and the stereo is working. Got out and did an engine service, replaced plugs, oil. oil filter and radiator fluid. I've run into some problems with windscreen wipers however. Ordered a new wiper motor thinking it was the problem but that hasn't seemed to work. I had a flick through the tech wiki and noticed my wiper switch is a bit different in comparison the the ones in the picture. It looks like the old style wiper switch but with new style connector. Anyone have any idea's?

I believe they're from a commodore but I'm not entirely sure on it. I don't know my Holdens

They look like Honda Prelude seats?

Elrich11 I had a look but I couldn't find any Honda or Holden seats that look similar so I'm a little lost on what they are..

Pulled out the seats and most of the interior today to see the full condition of the floor pans and the back wall. Unfortunately there's quite a bit of rust and some work will had to be done. For the time being he's some pictures of the progress.

Seats out.

Floor pans aren't too bad but better be safe than sorry.
