I have always believed that the A12A engine was used in a number of countries, most of which spoke a language that I am, sadly, unable to read or speak [Asian,.. various] but it was also used in US models, & they speak English, so that's a good place to start looking.
The short stroke A13, which was also used in the B310 in some Asian markets also used the same rod as the only real diference between these engines is the bore size. [A12A= 75mm, A13= 76mm]

At least Bob is in the right place to find some.
