A15's are found in nissan c20 vannettes, and some square headlight sunnys.
It is advised if you transplant a van motor in, to reuse the original flywheel.

when you say reuse the original flywheel im assuming you mean the one off the A15 and not the A12?

Nope other way around - I'm pretty sure he means re-use your A12 flywheel because it is lighter allowing the engine to rev more freely.

Maybee you should stop listening to people that don't have a clue.
The L series will not 'bolt straight in' but can be installed with less difficulty than many other engines.
Good luck with the A15, it's a good choice.

heres some food for thought. Was the A15 tuned differently in its application? say the vanette tune be aimed even lower than the sunny

A good question littledarkone....

I assume the only difference would be the carby and maybe the dizzy between the vanette and the sunny.

I suppose the exhaust manifold might be different too - as I understand that the design of the exhaust manifold is generally optimised for a particular rpm.

The Vanette would surely be expected to make peak torque as a low rpm, the sunny maybe was making peak torque at a higher rpm.
