The front door windows on my 1200 make a lot of wind noise.

Will new rubber seals fix this problem? Or just make it a bit quieter? Or have no effect at all?

The roll up or the vent? or all of the above?
I hope new seals do something causeI bought new seals for the front vent windows but I still haven't intalled them.

The vent windows (triangular wing windows).

I cannot say if the rollup windows make noise, because the vent windows are sooooo loud. Wind noise, howl, whistle, buffeting noises ... They squeal if I close them, and get lower pitched but louder buffeting if I crack them open.

I find that if I fold up a piece of paper to about an 1/8 of an inch and put it behind the catch it holds it tight enough to stop it whistling. My rubbers are in pretty good shape.

OK, I got new rubber seals for the wing windows (front ventilator glass) and put the driver's side on today. It took about one hour. And indeed, that window is now quiet, at least at 35 mph, but the passenger side is still whistling. I can't wait to fit the other one.

Silastic. I had to look that one up. It is silicone rubber sealant.

I thought of that, but was more thinking of taping (using clear tape) the body to the glass, and also removing the drip rail from the roof. It might quiet the wind noise considerably.

silastic works a treat, and if you put painters tape on the glass it wont bond to it after it dries so you can still open it as usual

use a 10cent coin behind the catch hold that works also

There's always 10c in the ashtray.

An equivalent would be a 5c nickel in US currency.
