What's the most common upgrade for a 1200 diff? I'm swapping in an SR20DET and need to source an LSD. What's my
best bet on this?

I went with the Bluebird TRX Series III diff. From what I know the Navara LSD centre bolts straight in. I currently have my setup for sale (because I never got the time to
get the 1200 finished). If your interested in buying it I have all the reciepts and spent roughly $1250 on it. It never had a chance to run with the SR20 so it's practically
brand new!

That's $735 USD into it thing. How much do you want for yours? Is it ready to be put in (or rather, under) the car, or does it need finishing touches. What size ring gear?
My SR20DET should push 320+ crank HP (238KW) / 320 ft-lbs (433NM), so I can't use the weenie 165mm ring gear.

If it's satisfactory, I may be interested!

Dave.

I spent $600 on buying the diff and then a further $650 having it built for the sr20det and shortened to fit into the 1200 coupe. It is already fitted to the coupe and ready
to go.

I'm not sure what size ring gear it has, I gave the money to a friend who did all the running around for me because I am always at work!

He's still got my receipts to so I'll grab them and see if any specs were written down.

I'm asking about $850 (I'm losing out since I haven't even started the car with it in there). At the moment I need as much money as I can for my project so I am open to
offers.

Hi Dave,

you probably already know this but Andrew (ca18det_man)has a 2.6L Mitsubishi Scorpian diff with his CA18 coupe.

It's only 90mm wider than the 1200 diff so you just have to use front-wheel drive offset rims and it will clear
the guards.

Andrew reckons it can handle 300hp+. I have seen the axles- they are the same thickness as a nine-inch diff
axle!

Is it a limited slip?

Hi Scott,
I live in Adelaide, and I too am interested in your diff. Could you please email me with some further details about the diff
and some contact details.
Thanks,
Jon davjj001@students.unisa.edu.au

Unforunately, I don't think the Mitsubishi Scorpian diff is limited slip. But I'm not positive- I'm sure
Andrew would know though.
The only thing is you have to cut off all the linkage suspension bits and weld on a leaf spring mounting.

You can email him at: andrew@winsoft.net.au

I have also heard of someone else fitting a Toyota hilux 5.3 LSD to a coupe in NZ.
