yeah the shop is a very reputable franchise. The extractors i think were a brand called manta. They seemed to bolt up to the head fine but left no room for the manifold.
Does anyone know if it possible to use a A12 intake manifold on a A15 head?

A12 intake is a round intake port manifold

A15 is an oval port manifold.

So you can't use A12 on A15.

If you carn't get it fixed i heard molative cocktails do a fine job in the back window of a workshop.
