Yes you may start by helping with mowing the lawns etc so that your dad dosen't have to do these items when he arrives home after work. Hence no excuse other than to work on The Car

ooooooo hello dad

for all of you out there, my dad is THEARSE. the name suits him at the moment because he is being a ROYAL pain in the arse.

thats a pretty poor excuse anyway as the front lawn was mowed last night by the neighbour.

so everyone please give my dad (THEROYALARSE) a round of a plause for not working on my datto, dropping it off a forklift and dinting the she ite out of it and leaving screws inside so when its finished it rattles like a marraca.

thanks dad. you the best.

geez Todd thanks for reminding me what a loser I am.....my son plays with his friends while I work on his racing Kart , although he does help wash it. Of course he is only 12.
If your Dad is anything like mine you really don't want him using tools. My Dad's now 72 and I work on "his" car. Sounds like you just need to get it done yourself..........Dads just want quiet when they get home from work.
I'd say it's offer to help and if that fails get him some beer and while he is drinking it use his tools to fix it yourself.

You say your gettin your licence soon.........all you got to do is keep asking to drive his car and he wont want that so he will have to finish yours.

Just say to him if my cars not finished can i drive your car when i get my licence ask him every day even twice a day and remember to tell him how many days till you get your licence each time......This should help your situation or get you a belting lol

What you have to do is start workin on the car yourself. If u struggle with anythin ask your dad to help u out. Your motivation will get ur dad motivated to help you.

hey all

i took the advice from my dad (THE ARSE) this afternoon... but put my own lil twist on it. he wanted the lawn mowed soi did, but in the process wrote my name in the grass so he would know who did it. i think from now on wenever i have to mow the lawn ill do this since he said he will be working on it on sunday. so humiliation is the best way to get fathers to do jobs for you.

but how should i continue doing this sort of thing because i cant mow the lawn every week. wat else can i do. i really like the idea of humiliation as it works best on him

TheARSE it sounds like its time to sell the ute. Use the money to buy beer and go back to relaxing in the arvo and weekends.

You bought it but he has to repair it.

The things you have said, gives me an idea why your dad hasn't got the car done.
Have you ever thought about why he hasn't?
