You might be able to negotiate a fairer/higher price with him, although it will be more effort for you.

Anyone else in in this guy's area might want to make 'a grand or three' doing this export deal, assuming it's still on.

Do your homework on freight/export before agreeing on a price. You need to keep that part 'variable' until the deal is done. Don't want to lose money...
