At the very least, he probably has no power, so no internet.
Judging from the reports he may have no phone service, & in the worse case, maybee no home or garage.

Lets all just hope it's just a lack of power thats keeping him from calling in.

Good to see Rays name in the 'members online' list, so we can assume that the cyclone didn't blow him away.

Lets hope that everything else survived OK.

Yes all fine, thanks for the concern.

As I work for the local Energy supply company (Ergon Energy) I have been a little busy restoring people's power, and haven't had too much time to annoy you all with silly questions on the forums.

Cairns didn't get much damage at all compared to Innisfail and Babinda. When we get the power back on in Cairns we are headed to Innisfail to help.

Must say, I hope the little 120Y with the vinyl roof that cruises around Innisfail is ok! It was sweet.

Anyway, my KB10 made it thru. Even without a handbrake cable
Cheers,
Ray

What is it with the KB10 handbrake cable? They all seem to be broken. Was it a poor design or are they simply in short supply?

They are a part not shared by any other vehicle and so are pretty hard to come by, I dont think there is anything inherently wrong with the design, in fact it is probably the best design of any of the 1200,1000's.
