oh adrian, how are you going to stop me from converting, now that you want more speed yourself.
I need to have more speed than you

Stick with the A-series just a bigger one. You'd be crazy not too as you've got a few dollars worth of good stuff already to suit. My idea is that dont ever try and think that a A-series will make a good drag engine. I wouldnt say it lacks horsepower so much (still not huge figures but as you'd know they leave the line quite hard) but more or less torque to pull the higher gears towards the end. Focus on it been a quick street engine. You'll find it quicker over short diastances than what alot of big horsepower cars are. Also put effort into the handling side of things and then you'll respect the A-series potential.

A 15 ,1200 gx head ,twin 40 mm weber,s,lightend fly wheel, fully balanced ,inlet and exhaust match ported, cold air box, 4,2,1 extractors
car weight 700 kg
This build cost about 5k
This engine is in my race coupe
but would be drivable as a road going engine
