hey pplz well ive been here for about 6 months ive allways loved the datsun 1200 and all its relatives and only eva finding mutch about them from the time i joined the club i was wondering wtf is a 1500 neva herd of it before can any one giv a pic or sum kind of discriptiondollisson@bigfoot.com.aups this site rocks beta than LIMP BIZKITQuote:

Oh I remember you...

As far as I know ( could be wrong) datsun 1500 only ever came as utes... They had the J series engine...

oh now im definately doing twin round lights on my 1200 road car, when that finally happens, they look so cool

i believe they only came in utes also

and dude im guessing you know what wtf stands for, i dont think you should use it as a thread heading, i know youre young, i dont think its apropriate on our sites main page, maybe inside a post but not on our main page please

My Dad used to own a 1500 ute. It was a good little ute that could pull just about anything, provided you wern't in a hurry to get to where you were going. Top speed was about 70kph (on a good day. One other thing I remember was that these utes have a coulbm shift 4 speed, which, at the time, I thought was strange.
One of these with a ca18det or somthing would be awsome

Daniel, Is it possible for you to change the title?

Seeing this "title" on the top of the main page is annoying. Please change the title to "Datsun 1500?? Please Explain?"

ok next time i will not use wtf or lmfao or any "ofencive langauge" next time soory if i hirt any sheilds buty er well guessing most poeples are mebers coming to this site and genrally im guessing older people cum here i guessed most wouldnt hav the faintest wat it ment sooory will not do i again and thanx for the info ive seen that pic come were that red ute its of a pomy site i think wooops i dont think i should hav used tha worddollisson@bigfoot.com.au

Yeah it's a pommy site. But I jsut did a quick google Image search and that was the best one I found.
I could look harder and find a better one but I think I will go to sleep instead...
The ones tha tI have seen in Aus have a tray on them with sides and stuff...
My lfatmates dad has one in the backyard of their place.
Yeah column shift I remember that now too.

There was a guy on Performance Forums putting a CA18DET or a six or soemthign into one of these. EVeryone was telling him not to bother...
But from what I remember he was going to do it anyway!
