Ok bringing this thread up again with some into on another engine every potato head points out to be the ideal engine when in fact its way heavier than a ca18det which can make as much power with little work and more with less.
The over rated engine is..... Honda f20 or f22 fully dressed = 158kg!!!! And the lightest is the K series by Rover Quote: The end result was a 1.8-litre version that weighed just 96.5kg fully dressed, with all fluids. Compare this with the Honda S2000 engine at 158kg and the Toyota 1.9 VVTi at 137kg. Toyota 2zzfe fully dressed = 137kg (this is the engine i wrongly recommended not knowing it was such a porker!)

i believe it's a rubber band motor, Timing belt not chain, and the deck height is taller for ca20 than a ca18, the tooth count would be a problem, like L16 L20b, different chain...
