hehe, just reminded me of the time my mate was driving back from gerlaton (400-450km's north of perth) and a truck flicked up a rock, smashing his windscreen. Didn't just smash, it turned white so it was impossible to see through. He would have kicked it out and driven home without one except for the fact that it was raining. So he starts driving off with his head out the window, bit of tape of the windscreen to hold it up. 50km's down the road, it falls in...

rather than get his interior wet, he found a heap of sticks and jammed them in between the sunvisor and where the bottom of the windscreen used to be. Then wrapped a tarp around it holding it in with the doors. He managed to travel the remaining 300km's home like that, mostly dry, except for his face, and a bit of the drivers seat
