Diff Question

Is this right, i own a 75 b210 sedan, so the diff should be a h150, from what i can see by looking at the back housing and the pics in the tech section it is, but the tech section also says b210s(120ys) produced in australia used Borg warner diffs, from looking at the pics it isent a bw, is there a way i can find out if mine is the Australian produced or japanese pruduced b210
h150 or bw

According to the Gregories manual, the BW rear axle assembly was introduced in locally assembled B210 models from July 1976. This would be sedan models as I believe that the lower volume Coupe & Wagon models were still fully imported, thereby retaining their H150 differentials.
If it looks like an H150, then it is.

thanks dodge, itd defitely be the h150, from the looks of it and the fact it was manufactured before july76

maybe a stupid question, but did all 120Y's have a 3.9:1 diff ratio, including the vb210 2-door wagon?

i think so, but im not sure bout the vb210, dont think ive ever heard of the vb210, but my brains been pretty spaced out for a while now.

VB210 is just the "van" (wagon) chassis code. Usually just called B210.
I dunno about down in Aus, but some B210s got different ratios in Japan and in USA.

I have the standard 3.9:1 H150 and would like to know where I can get a lower ratio for it from.

The spline count is the same as the H145 differential, but I don't know the numnber.

Yes, same # of splines. Who cares how many, they never break at the splines. The axles just snap. But more often the cr&p breaks, chips some tooths off if you put too much torque to it.
