I've made sure its not a vacuum in the fueltank thats causing all the problems ( had that problem before aswell )

Anyways so I replaced the pump and fuelfilter during the weekend and bam everything is running smoothly for the entire weekend until this morning on my way to work she stalls again. So I take another look under the bonnet and the first thing I see is my fuelfilter completly full of fuel weird, I take a look at the the float level and no fuel

So tonight i'll take of the fuel line off and put a couple of bars of pressure through it and see wat gets shot out the other end.
If thats not the problem is it possible for the float to get stuck at the top?

Yes, it is possible for the float to get stuck. But first do a fuel-pump test. If you prepare, you can do this on the side of the road when the problem occurs. See: Carb adjustment, troubleshooting, rebuild and inspection. You basically just need a screwdriver (to loosen the hose) a small container to measure the fuel and a watch to time it.

Pull the carb apart and check the needle and seat. . .

On the side of the road when it dies, give the carb a sharp whack, it may help if the needle is binding.

Update: So last night I decided to take off the fuel tank, fuel line and strip the carb and make sure everthing is in working order. After completely dismantling everything that touches fuel I still could't find anything wrong. The only thing that I did not take of was the fuel pump, so i figure what the hell lets check out the brand new fuel pump, its only 4 days old i'm mean whats the odds that the fuel pump can be broken.

As I pull of the pump I hear a piece of metal falling on the ground, that was the first indication that this pump went to fuelpump heaven, after completly removing the pump I see the cam follower thingy broke off

So needless to say I'm getting an electrical pump today and hoping that it will solve the problem.
