What existing strut braces work in a 210? would a 240sx one work with mods or is there a better starting point?

these things cost like $30 I can't get my own made from scratch that cheap.

Hey. I saw this topic and i didnt want to start my own when there is antoher topic of the same. Im not trying to hijack the thread but....
Anyone got pictures of the struts braces in there datsuns (preferablly 1200's) as im making one myself at the moment and i want to know what others have done.
I HAVE searched on the site for info and crap on them but its just more people asking for info lol.



to answer your question b210, i personally think that starting from scratch is the way to go.

i think i can use the premade 240sx tops, just need to make a new bar.

A 510 strutbar is about the same size as a B210/310 sentra is about 3/4 to 1" wider I would assume a 240sx/silvia is alot wider still

sweeeeet as, cheers dd. Helps a lot. still dont really know on what setup in going to use I've got the template fore the acutal bolt on bit but i dont know what shape to make the bits coming off of it if you know what i mean.

This is another design for the end fitting.
It's simple, light & very strong by design. It has two curved gussets that support the cross tube that might be easily missed at first glance.
