up-loading photos

I haven't been able to up- load a photo the prompts keep saying that the photo is too big but it isn't.....I've tried a dozen times any help would be most appreciated, the photo is only 1000 x 750, so I am under the impression that that's under the maximum size....HELP ? ANYONE....thanks just in case you can help....Sloan

hmm, try posting 4 simultaneous threads asking for help.
oh you tried that, sorry.

OK sorry couldnt resist, I have had problems uploading too, but didnt pursue finding out why.

keep them 640 x 480 jpg with 80% quality. You are probably blowing out the filesize.

Yes, 1000 x 750 will almost always take up more than 100k of file space.

640x480 is good for detailed, excellent photos

480x360 is better for small items.
